Managing Groups

To configure access rights, you must define the groups. It is important that the groups are representative of the work functions of the business rather than employees.

To create a group, go to the menu Administration >> User Management >> Groups .

A group has more information:

• Name : Group Name
• Code : Group Code
• Restricted : Allows you to determine whether this group is small or not.
• Permissions : List of permissions granted to the group.

The field Restricted is important because it defines how are managed the group permissions:

• On: The group has no right to put by the rights listed in the table permissions. Table permissions is then a list of permission.
• Off: The group has every right to put by the rights listed in the table permissions. Table permissions is then a list of restrictions.

For a given, only a permission object group is possible.
